About Me
I’m Naomi Jacob, a Communication and Information Sciences major with a minor in Public Relations at The University of Alabama. I’m currently working toward my MBA with a focus on sales, and I’ve realized I really enjoy the sales side of business; building relationships, understanding people, and helping solve problems.
I’ve gained experience through internships at SGRC Insurance Services and CRC Group, where I worked on marketing, client communication, and sales support. I also studied abroad in France and attended the Cannes Lions Festival, which strengthened my interest in marketing and communication. I’m excited to keep growing in sales, marketing, and client-focused roles.
Why Communications?
I chose communications because I genuinely enjoy understanding people and finding the best way to reach them. Whether it’s through writing, branding, or conversation, I like making information clear, meaningful, and engaging. I’ve always been the person who enjoys talking with others, explaining things in a way that makes sense, and helping people feel heard and understood.
Studying communications allows me to use those strengths in a purposeful way and prepares me for a career where strong connection and clear messaging matter.
